Having touring equipment that is versatile and suitable for a range of structures can prevent unnecessary delay and hiccups. Guard load arrestors address the problem of having to provide a secondary safety solutions for equipment that is suspended at height, such as trusses and speakers. It's increasing common for Guards to be deployed alongside chain hoist motors, read more about this here.

Installation is straightforward: one (or more) Guard load arrestors are anchored above the truss/speakers, with the cable attached to the load. This provides an independent safeguard, separate to the primary system. If the primary support fails, the Guard safely and quickly catches the falling equipment, preventing damage and potential injury. Even better, the Guard’s cable automatically extends and retracts, following the movement of the load. This means the load can be moved without having to detach the Guard's cable.
